Wie ben ik en wat kan ik?

Ik word gezien als iemand die open en eerlijk is. Ik heb een groot doorzettingsvermogen en ben creatief ingesteld. Het tackelen van lastige projecten is voor mij een uitdaging. Ik neem graag initiatieven en ben een doorzetter; ook in moeilijke situaties. Soms heb ik de neiging om ongeduldig te worden, als zaken niet op de manier gaan zoals ik wens.
Terugkijkend op mijn werkverleden heb ik collega’s vaak horen zeggen dat ik geen verschil in hiërarchie laat zien en mij zelf als een teammember zie waar elk teamlid zijn input kan geven zodoende de juiste beslissing te nemen. Ik neem snel het initiatief.
Een andere eigenschap is het goed kunnen samen werken met jong en oud alsmede verschillende culturen en afkomst. Door mijn resultaatgerichte houding zien sommige collega’s mij als een streber. Ik sta te allen tijde open voor de mening van een ander en zie graag bij een geopperd probleem één of meerdere oplossingen.
Hoewel ik conflicten als vervelend ervaar, ga ik deze zeker niet uit de weg.
Een sociaal gesprek van tijd tot tijd is voor mij van groot belang binnen het team.
Ik vind het uiterst prettig als mensen mijn prestaties waarderen.

Wat wil ik?

Ik vind zelfstandigheid erg belangrijk, maar heb graag een team om mij heen. Ik verwacht van mijn leidinggevende dat hij of zij me beoordeelt op het uiteindelijke resultaat en niet dat hij of zij zich bezighoudt met ‘hoe’ ik mijn werkzaamheden uitvoer en organiseer.

Ik ben loyaal aan de firma waarvoor ik werk en verwacht dit ook graag bij mijn collega’s aan te treffen. In de omgang met collega’s vind ik het prettig als ik weet wat ik aan hen heb en dat zij open en duidelijk naar mij communiceren. Ik vind het prettig de ruimte te hebben om mijn ideeën en initiatieven tot uitdrukking te laten komen. Ik heb geen ‘negen tot vijf’-mentaliteit en met mijn doorzettingsvermogen zorgt dit ervoor dat ik niet snel opgeef om problemen aan te gaan en op te lossen. Voldoende variatie in werk, evenals een hoge mate van eigen verantwoordelijkheden en bevoegdheden zijn voor mij belangrijke zaken.

Het opbouwen van een relatie met klanten als met de onderaannemers is voor mij heel belangrijk “alleen kun je niks als team kun je alles”. Werken in het buitenland is voor mij geen probleem en zie reizen als belangrijk onderdeel van mijn werk. Mijn voorkeur (vooralsnog) gaat uit naar een functie als Project Manager EP, aan klant of aannemers zijde.

Ik ben opzoek naar een functie als project leider EPC contracten multidisciplinair waarbij ook het veldwerk aanwezig is. Mijn sterke punten zijn samenwerken (ook met verschillende culturen), aansturen, contract administratie, problemen oplossen. Ik heb geen negen tot vijf mentaliteit.
