Zo omschrijven anderen mij

I believe myself to be a logical, analytical and strategic minded person. I am able to step back
and solve problems rationally with an innovative approach. I see changes as challenges and I
am innovative and dominant. My view on communication is that it has to serve a purpose, no
nonsense. Sometimes my responses are to direct but I am working to tackle this although I believe this makes me a good manager. Administrative skills are present but it is not my favourite task. Further, I am good at steering and directing a (multi-cultural) team, International orientated and used to cultural differences. I have a lot of practical technical experience.

- Development of preventative maintenance schedule on computer for
weekly orders, generated according to week numbers.
- Improvement of the spare parts for the PTA by increasing the lifetime.
- Erection and implementation of the Mixal (Degassing Aluminum Device).
- Get the responsibility of the department of the automatic pot doors.
Conduct an analysis of this department in order to reduce maintenance
costs with 25%. This resulted in cost savings of 35%.
- Development of a maintenance strategy which balances preventative
maintenance, downtime, and availability by production and costs on the
other hand.
- Digitalizing of all the data of our department; spare part lists, procedures,
work manuals, working orders etc. Get this data accessible online for
everybody who might need this information.
- Implementation of SAP, Plant Maintenance module. Building the structure
by the creation of function locations, all sorts of articles, bill of materials

- Modification of the furnaces by replacing the water cooled door posts by
cast iron doorposts.
- Modification of burner system from 12 to 6 burners steered by PLC.
- Refit of the circle saw unit including the automatic packaging device.
- Elimination of a product movement after the adjustment of two
devices/platforms.
- Simplification of the hydraulic system of the saw unit.
- Refit of lint saw and the transportation systems.
- Development of an intelligent table, in front of and behind the saw, to
prevent the saw from breaking caused by the product.

- Design of a new Anode Raising Beam, for a better fit on the stems, and a
complete new simpler pneumatic system.
- Modification of the platforms, walking way between the pots, of the A pot

with the location number of the Central Store (rodding shop and paste plant).
