Working in finance means you know a company’s soul. You see her strengths, her weaknesses, her opportunities. You know what to tell your manager about her and when. Monthly, yearly, or at once. You have to be careful with this knowledge and be sure you can translate it in the right facts. You have a big responsibility because what you show of her soul can have a big impact. Impact on strategies, policies, people.
That’s why I love working in finance.

I would like to give a short summary of my experiences that show the value I can bring to a company:
- I have spent many years working in different financial roles, from accountant/controller till credit controller. I am always eager to improve processes like (annual/ quarterly/monthly) reporting, trying to give the best business intelligence possible. Being perfectionistic but also pragmatic is part of my personality. I take opportunities that can bring worth to the organization.
- I have spent many years working in different financial roles, from accountant/controller till credit controller. Although I have often heard that I am ‘over qualified’ for jobs like credit controller, assistant controller, assistant accountant, I think those jobs give me a good opportunity for both me and the company. For the company I would be a good candidate because in some aspects I will be more experienced or educated than the minimum requirements for the job. For me it would be good to get more and more experience in different environments and to do the work I love. So please consider me also for jobs as credit controller or other jobs on the same level.
- I was a marketing manager and I had to do a lot of market research and provide research data, forecasts and reports. I pro-actively identified potential customers and contacted them (B2B sales), negotiated with them and contracted them.
- I am very IT minded and I know how to use business intelligence tools. I developed mathematical and analytical skills and accuracy during my accountancy study and I improved them in my work as accountant.
- I have a lot of experience in building up relationships with customers, not only during my work in marketing but I also developed a lot of customer related skills as a customer service executive and a credit controller.


Because I have a lot of humor, a positive mind set and respect for different work cultures, I can always find my way in multicultural and international organizations. I speak and write English, Arabic and Dutch.
